a good listening to....
an NSPCC poster some years ago showed a large picture of a sullen teenage boy and the message - "what he needs is a good listening to"....
...I really wish I'd done more of that

yes, its true, when I can't sleep I read your blog, and I thought, since I fit the description of 'sullen teenage boy' quite nicely I'd say, I know just where to come to if I need a good listening to, so I guess you could say, wish granted :)
