... years ago - I can't remember when - I read or heard that as he came towards the end of his life, Bertrand Russell came to believe that the biggest problem the world faced was a sort of conspiracy of world politicians against the citizens of the world.
Firstly, I'm not sure if I have genuinely remembered this or manufactured a kind of memory - does anyone else feel they know this, because I can't seem to discover any reference to it anywhere?
Secondly whether Bertrand or I came up with the idea, I increasingly believe it...


and I'm not one given to believing conspiracy theories
