bird in flight...

...taken on the edge of Derwentwater last Wednesday - and it was blowing a young hurricane. The gulls had to do nothing but jump in the air and ride the wind. Very difficult to catch and focus on them as they were moving very quickly - also light levels were very low so I didn't have the benefit of high shutter speeds - hope you like the result..... (thinks - is this blog morphing into yet another photoblog???)
