back again...

..we've been to the Lakes for a few days, and I had a lovely time despite increasingly achy joints and encroaching fatigue. I also took a lot of pics - but as I haven't uploaded them yet, so I've no idea how they have turned out. I took a lot of risks with the images - working a lot of the time in shadowy woodland on an overcast day with only available light - in other words nearly dark, for those photo-techies amongst you I was working at the equivalent of ISO 12,800 (I'll explain how when I post the pics).
It is the first time in several months that I have become completely absorbed in picture-taking. I paid the price later in overwhelming tiredness and retired to bed in the afternoon for a couple of hours.
